Full Name: Nazanin Boniadi
Nazanin Boniadi is a charming actress who has had prominent roles in Homeland and Scandal in addition to a memorable 9-episode reoccurring role on How I Met Your Mother. She appeared for three years on the daytime soap, General Hospital, which led to her landing a small role on the big screen in Iron Man. She’s had guest spots on 24 and Grey’s Anatomy and can be seen in the upcoming films Shirin in Love and Desert Dancer alongside Freida Pinto. She can be seen in the upcoming remake of Ben Hur.
Nazanin was born in Iran during the height of the Iranian revolution and her parents moved to London when she was an infant. She originally wanted to be a physician and graduated from UC Irvine with Honors and a B.S. in Biology. Instead she decided to pursue acting so she moved back to London and attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts. She is a human rights activist and spokesperson for Amnesty International USA.
